Robert A. Harrison, Jr., Captain/President
Bob Harrison created a superlative career in sales and sales management with such notable organizations as Corning Biomedical, Kone Instruments, Romox, MetLife Healthcare, CIGNA Healthcare and Life Masters, Inc. He aligned himself with organizations that honored authenticity, developed people, and supported a balance between work and family. He enjoyed a diversified career path and focused on developing his strategic vision and planning skills. He had an intrinsic understanding of group dynamics, motivation, and the importance of individual empowerment. In the early 1990s, Bob started to enlarge his role in corporate America to include mentoring groups to facilitate cultural change within the organization.
Edward A. Taub, M.D., former Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Coast Guard and Ship Doctor for Windstar, Holland America and Carnival Cruise Lines, has joined the crew of Curlew as Ships Doctor.
Doctor Taub’s success in preventing and treating seasickness, combines with the built-in grace and stability of Curlew, will now assure the comfort and enjoyment of all our passengers.
A noted Orange County physician and author, Dr. Taub has published 8 books on wellness.
His last book, “Stress Management in Today’s World” (Readers Digest Publishing 2009) is the basis for our Voyage to Wellness events. Ed is a regular guest on QVC and has also appeared on the Today Show, Good Morning America and The O’Reilly Factor.
Dr. Taub is currently the Director of Integrated Medicine for the Southern California Hospice Foundation.
